Nursing Careers

Working at KenCrest means helping others live out their dreams and discovering a few of your own along the way. For over 118 years, our team of 1,200 employees throughout Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Delaware have embodied PRIDE (Positive approaches, Reaching higher, Inclusion, Discovery, and Excellent Leadership) in all aspects of our work, and we can't wait for you to join us!

What it Means to be a Nurse at KenCrest

There are many places at KenCrest where a nurse can work to support individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability. At our Adult Community Living Homes, we provide a home-care environment to four medically fragile adults with 24/7 full-circle care to meet our residents' social, medical, and emotional needs while providing them with opportunities for the highest quality of life possible.

Pediatric nurses will work within our Children’s Transitional Care Homes, which serve as a stepping stone between the hospital and the family residence. Our Care Teams train and prepare parents and guardians to manage their children’s needs when they are back in the family home with their loved ones. Our qualified I/DD and social work professionals work together to assess the children for any potential intellectual or developmental disabilities.

We require all new team members to be fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine*, except where a reasonable medical or religious accommodation can be granted. Should you be offered and accept a position with KenCrest, you must provide proof of vaccination in the form of your CDC vaccination card as part of the pre-employment onboarding process.
