KenCrest Friends & Family Referral Day – Open Hiring Event (DE)
KenCrest is hosting a Friends & Family Referral Day as part of an open hiring event happening across all three states where we support people in our communities.
In Delaware, this event will focus on our Meaningful Day Direct Support Professional (DSP) role. Meaningful Day DSPs support people with intellectual disabilities in spending their days in ways that are meaningful to them — volunteering, getting involved in their community, exploring interests, building relationships, and enjoying everyday activities based on each person’s wants and needs.
This role is a great fit for students, parents, semi‑retired individuals, or anyone looking to dedicate a few hours a week to something purposeful. Hours are part‑time and flexible, typically occurring Monday through Friday during the day, most often between 10:00am and 2:00pm, with no overnights, weekends, or late nights. Weekly hours generally range from 8 to 20 hours, depending on the individual receiving support. Some shifts may be just a couple of hours, while others can be combined into a fuller schedule based on your availability.
Please note that a personal vehicle is required, as staff support and transport individuals in the community.
To help speed things along, candidates can RSVP through Indeed link (COMING SOON) to skip the line but walk‑ins are also welcome.
Please bring your résumé and driver’s license.
